I started my IN-HOME HVAC sales career with a very well-established company in Baltimore — first as a helper, assisting master mechanics and technicians so I understood what they deal with on a service call or installation. I saw everything from commercial boiler installations to 20' deep sewer line replacements. Very good training, and I'm thankful for it to this day.
The in-home sales game was very lucrative for companies and salespeople if your moral compass was a little off. I was witness to homeowners being taken advantage of on a regular basis. It was company policy, and it made me sick.
The housing market crash brought somewhat of a reset to the industry. I moved to a commercial/industrial mechanical firm to expand my breadth of knowledge — a very worthwhile move. I kept my finger on the pulse of residential HVAC the whole time, even working part-time for my previous employer. Some of the unsavory practices had been done away with by then.
After a couple years selling crane & rigging work for a mobile crane outfit, I landed with a small mechanical firm owned by a good friend of mine. I've had the pleasure of helping that company grow on a very grassroots level — most of our work comes from word-of-mouth referrals and quality reviews on Google, Facebook, and Home Advisor.
I've always treated customers with dignity and respect. I have never taken advantage of anyone to help myself or a company make a higher profit margin. I've found homeowners are given misinformation from some companies when making HVAC decisions — I give you the detailed information you need to make informed buying decisions, help you select the right equipment for your needs, avoid being overcharged, and feel confident in your decision.
"My parents reached out to BGE Home and got some crazy quote which didn't sit right with me. I reached out to Brad and asked for his assistance. Within 24hrs he was able to go out and give them a quote which was thousands less! Brad is a genuine good dude who looks out for his customers and makes sure they are getting top notch service. Would recommend him to anyone."
A few real posts from Brad's own Instagram, talking through real HVAC situations the same way he'd talk to you.
